Obverse: Crowned bust of King Christian IV with long hair above the a shield with arms of Denmark. Shield has straight sides and is partially within a beaded circle as well as King's bust. Legend along rim, divided in two by shield below and King's crown above.
Reverse: Nude female figure, representing Fortuna, is standing on a small globe, looking straight. She held a long banner with left hand above head making it waving behind her back with the right. Date is divided at sides. Fortuna is partially within a beaded circle with legend outside; value as 8 S. L. and mintmark at end of legend.
